Special Issue of Soft Matter

Dear colleagues,

it is our great pleasure to announce that the themed collection is open to participants of ECLC 2025, as well as contributions from others in the liquid crystals community. 

Manuscripts can be submitted here: https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/sm

Authors should NOTE in their submission that their article is intended for the Liquid Crystals themed collection so that it will be tagged into the collection and included on the webpage.

All manuscripts must fall within the scope of the journal and will undergo the normal initial assessment and peer review processes in line with the journal's high standards, managed by the journal editors. Accepted manuscripts will be added to the online collection on acceptance and published in a regular issue of Soft Matter.

The deadline for submission is 14th December 2025.
